Our Projects

Every day, more and more lonely elderly people turn to the Christian Mission “New Life” because they have been left on the streets due to war, loss of loved ones, or difficult life circumstances. Our current shelter, designed for 60 people, has long been overcrowded, and every day we are forced to turn away those who ask for help because we physically have nowhere to accommodate them. That is why we have made a bold and vitally necessary decision to start building a new, large, and modern shelter for elderly people and people with disabilities. “It will not be just a building, but a real home where hope and dignity return.” What will the new shelter be like? ✓ Scale: The new complex will be able to accommodate 310 residents at a time. Of these, 60 places will be reserved for a specialized palliative care unit for seriously ill people who need constant medical care. ✓ Medical support: A medical unit with an area of 180.93 m² is planned, where elderly people will be able to undergo regular examinations and receive comprehensive treatment. ✓ Comfort and accessibility: A spacious dining room (256.36 m²) will provide all residents with three meals a day. Each living room is designed with the special needs of the elderly in mind to ensure maximum comfort and privacy. ✓ Leisure and spirituality: The territory includes green areas for relaxation and emotional recovery, a library, as well as auditoriums for spiritual communication and psychological support. What has already been done? Thanks to the support of our partners from Far Reaching Ministries, we have already taken the first and very important step — we have purchased a plot of land in the village of Velykyi Dalnyk, where large-scale construction will begin. We face enormous challenges ahead: financial, logistical, and construction. Building such a complex requires enormous resources, but we believe that together we can bring this project to completion. We invite everyone who cares to join in the construction! Your financial support, volunteer participation, building materials, or even sharing this information are invaluable contributions. Let's build a place together where every elderly person can spend the autumn of their life in warmth, safety, and God's love.

Every day, hundreds of people turn to the Christian Mission “New Life” for help. Most of them are lonely elderly people or people with disabilities who have lost everything due to war, domestic violence, fraud, or other difficult life circumstances. Since the existing shelter, designed for 60 people, has long been overcrowded, the mission made a bold decision to start building a new, large-scale, specialized complex. This shelter will not just be a temporary roof over people's heads, but a real home where they can recover physically, psychologically, and spiritually.Key dimensions and infrastructure of the project:Capacity: The complex will be able to accommodate 310 people, including 60 places allocated for a palliative care unit for those who need constant round-the-clock care.Medical unit (180.93 m²): A unit for providing qualified medical care, conducting regular examinations, treating, and supporting palliative patients.Living areas: Comfortable and cozy rooms, specially designed to meet the needs of the elderly and people with physical disabilities.Food and leisure: A spacious 256.36 m² dining room for three full meals a day, as well as a library, green areas for relaxation, and auditoriums for psychological and spiritual support for residents. Thanks to the support of partners from Far Reaching Ministries, the first important step has already been taken—a plot of land has been purchased in the village of Velykyi Dalnyk, where this new home will eventually be built. There are still many financial and logistical challenges ahead for the implementation of such a large-scale construction project. Therefore, the Mission is open to cooperation and invites everyone to join this noble cause with financial support, volunteer time, or informational support. Together, we can create a space where every lonely grandmother or grandfather, every person with a disability, will feel safe, dignified, and loved.

War and domestic violence destroy the lives of many families in Ukraine every day. Hundreds of women are left alone with their children—without a home, means of subsistence, or support. To help them, the Christian mission New Life implemented one of its most important projects—a home for mothers, children, and orphans. Thanks to the support of partners (Giving Hearts International), construction was completed, and on September 1, 2023, the project began operating. The complex is designed to accommodate 30 mothers and 70 children at a time. During this time, the House has already become a safe haven for more than 50 women and 80 children who have fled violence or lost everything due to military action.Comprehensive support for families The Mother and Child Home is not just a roof over their heads, but a whole system of support for recovery:The work of a team of specialists: psychologists, doctors, educators, and teachers help them overcome past traumas and heal.On-site kindergarten: children learn, engage in creative activities, play, and develop in a safe environment.Adaptation programs for women: mothers learn to care for their children, manage their households, plan for the future, and become independent.Counteracting orphanhood: the mission works directly with maternity hospitals to help women in crisis not to give up their children, but to preserve their families. The results of the work are already visible: children are smiling and developing again, and women are radically changing their lives, becoming caring and responsible mothers.A mother and child home is a sacred place where children can enjoy their childhood and families can have a chance at a happy future. The mission team continues its daily work to increase the number of such places of refuge in Ukraine. If you would like to support this project with prayer or financially, join the New Life Mission. Together we can preserve childhood!

When people return from prison or find themselves trapped in alcohol, drug, or gambling addiction, they often get stuck in a vicious cycle of old circumstances. Many of them sincerely want change, but they are simply unable to break out of this vicious cycle on their own.Unfortunately, the prison system often focuses on punishment rather than rehabilitation. Often, behind bars, people go through a “school of criminal experience,” lose what little trust they have left in society, and are released even more broken. It is precisely in order to give such people a real chance at a new life that Christian Mission has created Personal Restoration Centers. How does the center work? The basis of rehabilitation is the “Journey to Freedom” program—an intensive six-month course aimed at deep restoration, rethinking the past, and a new start.Clear rules and discipline: The center has a strict daily routine and its own rules. This helps weed out those who are only looking for temporary shelter and leaves people who are truly ready to work on themselves.Comprehensive support: Each participant works with a team of mentors, psychologists, and counselors. They help not only to overcome addiction, but also to learn basic life skills, manage finances properly, and restore trusting relationships with loved ones.Professional fulfillment: The program helps participants acquire a new profession or return to their former one and assists with further employment.Working with families: Since addiction affects everyone around them, the center's specialists actively work with the families of those in rehab, helping them overcome codependency and properly support the person on their path to change.Main goal: Step by step, the zone of trust with the clients expands, and they are gradually given responsibility for their own lives. The goal of personal recovery centers is not just to temporarily “change behavior,” but to shape mature, responsible individuals who are able to live soberly, make healthy decisions, and become truly useful to their families and society.

Every year, with the onset of cold weather, the Christian Mission "New Life" sets up mobile warming stations. For people who find themselves on the streets due to difficult life circumstances, these tents become not just a temporary shelter, but a real lifeline and a place where they can find warmth, support, and hope for a better future. What do the warming centers offer? In the winter cold, each tent is equipped with everything necessary for basic survival and comfort. Inside, people can expect: Warmth and rest: There are stoves, tables, benches, and comfortable sleeping places where people can warm up and sleep peacefully. Hot meals: Every day, visitors receive hot lunches and tea to help them regain their strength. Basic supplies: The mission provides clean and warm clothing and shoes for those in need. Medical assistance: First aid is available on site, and referrals to hospitals are provided if necessary. Spiritual support: Every evening, ministers and pastors share testimonies and the Word of God. This encourages people to think about change, and many decide to go to social adaptation centers to start a new life. How and where does it work? Similar centers operate every year in Odesa, Kyiv, and Zaporizhzhia. They work around the clock thanks to fruitful cooperation with the State Emergency Service (SES) and local police. Depending on the location and weather conditions, between 50 and 300 people visit each center every day. Point of Resilience In addition to traditional warming centers for the homeless, with the start of full-scale war, the Mission deployed a large "Point of Resilience" on Kulikovo Field Square in Odesa. The huge tent can accommodate 150 people. Local residents and displaced persons can warm up, charge their phones, use free Wi-Fi, drink hot tea with cookies, and feel safe and comfortable even during the longest blackouts. Impressive statistics for 12 years of work: 115,000 people received vital support. 601,310 hot meals were distributed to those who were hungry. 130,000 liters of hot tea warmed those who were cold. 80,236 people underwent fluorography and HIV/AIDS testing. 4,620 people received first aid on site, and 1,615 were hospitalized. 3,412 people were inspired to change their lives and went to social rehabilitation centers for treatment. These tents are not just a place to hide from the bitter cold. For many, they are a place to find love and the beginning of a journey from despair to recovery.

For some, a hot meal is a normal part of their daily routine, but for hundreds of people who have lost their homes and livelihoods, it is a luxury. Every day, countless elderly people, homeless people, and war victims face the threat of malnutrition, lacking even the most basic necessities. That is why, for over 15 years, the Christian Mission "New Life" has been implementing the charity project "Feed the Hungry," organizing social canteens and daily hot meal distributions. For many, a bowl of hot soup, a piece of bread, and a glass of compote are a real lifesaver. More than just food Feeding is not only a way to satisfy physical hunger, it is a manifestation of love, humanity, and attention to those whom society often does not notice at all. Each portion served becomes an invitation to dialogue. The Mission's volunteers talk to people, listen to their pain, fears, and stories. And very often, it is here, over a cup of hot tea, that a person's journey to change begins. The beginning of a new life The Feed the Hungry project is a search for those who want change but don't know where to start. For many homeless people, free meals are the first step to salvation: people learn about the possibility of going to social adaptation centers. Information is simply passed on by word of mouth, and those who suffered in darkness yesterday are finding a way out today. Once they arrive at the centers, they receive shelter, psychological and spiritual support, and the skills necessary to return to a full life and find employment. Hundreds of people have gone from homelessness and hunger to recovery. Some of them have now become volunteers for the Mission themselves, helping others just as they were once helped. They are living proof that hope exists and that even after the darkest times, a bright future is possible. The social canteen is a reminder to every person that they are seen, valued, and given a chance at a new life!

The war in Ukraine has been going on for four years. At a time when infrastructure is being destroyed, power cuts are occurring, and people are living in constant instability, it is extremely important to give hope and confidence in tomorrow. To this end, the Christian mission New Life has launched a social bakery in Odessa as part of the Share Bread with the Hungry project. The bakery is already baking fragrant bread and a variety of baked goods. A special feature of this bakery is that it is equipped to operate completely independently of unstable electricity and gas supplies, which is vital in wartime conditions. Who are we baking this bread for? This work has become an effective tool for providing assistance within the framework of the "Help Ukraine Survive" program. Every day, freshly baked bread is used to meet the needs of the most vulnerable segments of the population: internally displaced persons, large families, and lonely residents of Odesa. Pastries and bread are regularly delivered to support our main initiatives: "Shelter for the elderly and people with disabilities"; "Mother and child home"; "Warming centers" and "Resilience centers"; Social canteens for vulnerable groups of the population; The "Personal Recovery Center" project. Daily meals at the station square A special part of the "Share Bread with the Hungry" project is daily social work on the streets of the city. Every day, volunteers from the Mission organize meals for the poorest, the homeless, and anyone else in need at the station square in Odessa. In these difficult times, a plate of hot food and fresh, freshly baked bread from our Social Bakery are a real lifeline and a sign of love for many. Along with food, we distribute Christian magazines and literature to people. For many, these magazines become a source of comfort and spiritual guidance, helping them to find faith, not to break down internally, and to take the first step towards change in their lives (for example, going to the Mission's rehabilitation center). This project is an optimistic beginning of an extremely important ministry, based on a deep belief that the warmth of fresh bread and the warmth of the human heart can heal. We sincerely thank our friends and international partners for their cooperation. During this most difficult time, they have not abandoned the peaceful population of Ukraine, opening up new opportunities for us and extending a helping hand. Together, we will achieve victory!

Let's help them survive: Ukraine According to international studies, more than 8.8 million Ukrainians (approximately 25-30% of the population) live below the poverty line. This statistic continues to grow at an alarming rate: by the end of the year, this figure could reach 14 million people. Behind each frightening figure lies pain, confusion, and an urgent need not to be left alone with their misfortune. This is precisely why the humanitarian project "Let's Help Them Survive" exists. As part of this project, a network of collection and distribution points for humanitarian aid has been organized, which operates thanks to the generosity of ordinary people. What is superfluous to one person can be a real lifesaver for another. At any time, a person in need can come to such a point, pick up clothes of the right size, find shoes, or ask for basic necessities. In addition to providing individual assistance, Mission volunteers assemble and deliver humanitarian aid packages to orphanages, hospitals, and rehabilitation centers on a daily basis. However, the most important aspect of these centers is the care they provide. Here, people are always listened to, supported, and helped to get through the most difficult periods of their lives. Assistance service for homeless people Every day, our hotline receives dozens of calls asking for help for people who find themselves in critical circumstances — on the streets without support, food, or shelter (due to loss of housing, war, or domestic violence). A comprehensive assistance service has been set up for them at the Christian Center for Revival church. Tents have been set up on the premises, along with shower facilities, a field kitchen, and places to rest. Twice a week (on Wednesdays and Saturdays), homeless people come here en masse. Each of them is given the opportunity to: Wash up and receive fresh, clean clothes. Eat a hearty hot meal.Receive basic emergency medical care. The service provides more than just physical assistance. Volunteers engage in candid spiritual conversations with each person, informing them about the opportunity to recover at the Mission's rehabilitation centers. Thanks to joint efforts with the police, the State Emergency Service, and medical professionals, patrols inform homeless people about our centers, and many of them decide to change their fate forever. "Let's Help Them Survive" in India Our activities and love know no borders. In the summer of 2019, Christian Mission launched a project to support vulnerable populations in India, a country of sharp contrasts and social injustice. Millions of Indians from lower castes (such as the Dalits) are practically doomed to live in poverty without access to normal education or work. The problem of drinking water is also extremely critical: every year, more than 2 million people die in the country from dirty water poisoning and related infections (cholera, typhoid). To help the most needy change this situation, volunteers and missionaries regularly deliver humanitarian aid to poor regions. They distribute vital clean drinking water, warm blankets, and winter clothing to the local population to help them survive the cold, and they also tell people about Christ by distributing New Testaments free of charge.
