A New Phase of Construction of a Shelter for the Elderly and People with Disabilities

For more than 15 years, the Christian mission “New Life” 🇺🇦 has been supporting people who have found themselves in difficult life circumstances. Our goal is not only to provide assistance, but also to offer care, support, hope, and a sense of dignity to every person.

Today, more than 60 residents live in our current shelter. However, the existing building no longer meets the growing needs, which has created the necessity to build a new, modern, and safe space for living and care.

Because of the war, economic difficulties, and challenging circumstances, continuing the construction became extremely difficult for a period of time. Nevertheless, we did not stop. Thanks to God’s help and the support of our partners, friends, and donors, today we are able to continue the construction of this important shelter.

The new shelter will become one of the largest institutions of this type in Ukraine. It will be designed for 310 residents, including 60 places for palliative care.

The future home will be arranged with consideration for all the needs of elderly people and people with disabilities. Comfortable living conditions, medical support, care, and assistance will be provided here. It will be a place where people can feel safety, warmth, and genuine love.

The second stage of construction has become possible thanks to the support of our international friends and partners from the Netherlands, the United States, and Germany, as well as the unity of many people whose hearts are open to mercy.
