A new home for Olga and little Melissa

Our old friends appealed to the mission with a request to help a young Ukrainian mother who found herself in difficult circumstances abroad. Olga, 28, is from Odessa. After school, she trained as a chef, worked, and dreamed of a family and a peaceful life. When she found out she was expecting a baby, her husband left her. The war began, and she was forced to flee to Romania. It was there that her daughter, Melissa, was born. For two years, the mother and child lived in a shelter for women with children, but their stay came to an end. Without the support of her family and without a roof over her head, Olga found herself facing an uncertain future. But God does not abandon his children. The Mother and Child Home of the Christian mission "New Life" became their new home. Little Melissa, now three years old, quickly adapted to her new environment—she plays, smiles, and feels loved. Her mother is still on the road to recovery: she is learning to trust, calming down, and gradually regaining her inner peace and faith in the future. We are there for them — supporting, helping, praying that peace, care, and hope will once again settle in the hearts of this family.
