The Road to Peace: The Story of a Mother with Four Children

A new mother with four children arrived at the Mother and Child Home of the Christian mission "New Life." Her name is Tetyana, and she is 37 years old. She comes from the village of Slyusareve in the Savran district. Tetyana lost her parents when she was a child and was raised by her grandmother, a devout woman who instilled in her granddaughter a love for God from an early age and taught her to rely on Him in everything. After school, Tetyana graduated from college with a degree in painting and plastering, then got married and had six children. Her older daughters are now adults and live independently, while her four younger children live with her: Daniel (13), Denis (6), Angelina (4), and little Anton (1.5). Tetyana's life was peaceful and filled with work: family, church, and her job as a social worker in the village. She was last on maternity leave, devoting her time to her home and children. When the family moved to Podilsk, their youngest son, Anton, was born there. However, family life did not withstand the trials: her husband left the family for another woman. Without support, with four minor children on her hands and no stable income, Tetyana found herself in difficult circumstances. She was unable to pay for rented accommodation and provide her children with everything they needed. During this difficult time, the Wind of Change Charitable Foundation advised her to contact our mission. Tetyana called and came to our home with her children. We hope that a new stage in the lives of Tetyana and her children has already begun and that now is a time of restoration, peace, and hope that this is a place where God will heal hearts and give new opportunities for the future.
