"A step into a new future: the story of Natalia and her four children"

An old acquaintance asked the leadership of the Christian Church "Awakening" to help her distant relative. After a sincere phone conversation with her, Natalia decided to take an important step and came to the New Life Christian Mission. Natalia is 35 years old and comes from the Podil district of Odesa region. Her childhood was not easy: her father abandoned the family and her mother left to work, so she was raised by her grandmother. It seemed that life had finally given Natalia happiness: 17 years ago, she met her husband, and together they built a house in which four daughters were born. The family lived in prosperity and harmony. But three years ago, alcohol entered the house. Since then, quarrels, pressure, and pain and despair have followed. Today, Natalia is taking a new step in her life. She is with her children, who also have a chance for a peaceful childhood: Her eldest daughter Oleksandra, 15, is currently in Kyiv, but will soon come to her mother; Kateryna, 14, and Anna, 6, will soon start school; The youngest, Vladyslava, 3, will attend a kindergarten at the Mother and Child Center. The mission team made sure the family had everything they needed. Here, Natalia and her daughters were able to feel safe and secure. "Today I am starting to believe again and hope that my family will be restored," Natalia says.
