Victoria's story: a new chapter in her life filled with hope and love
The juvenile police of the Berezivka district in the Odessa region appealed to the Mother and Child Home of the Christian mission "New Life" with a request to help a mother with children who were left homeless. Victoria is 33 years old. She is originally from Kirovograd region and has lived in the village of Ivanivka in Berezivka district since she was five years old. She grew up without a father, started a family early, and gave birth to a son. However, due to her husband's alcohol abuse, she was forced to leave him and raise her child on her own. Her second marriage brought Viktoria to Zakarpattia, where she had three more children. But, according to her, family relations were difficult — constant disagreements, pressure, and misunderstandings. In the end, she made a difficult but necessary decision — to leave. Her two older sons stayed with their father, while Victoria, her daughter Yelyzaveta (9 years old), and her younger son Sviatoslav (2 years old) spent three months staying with friends, living in a rehabilitation center, and eventually returning to their native Ivanivka. A cold winter was ahead, and they had nowhere to live... It was then that social services and the police helped the family get to our Mother and Child Home. Now they are in a safe place — they have a roof over their heads, warmth, food, and care. Yelizaveta is a sociable, bright girl who is very supportive of her mother, and little Sviatoslav is gradually getting used to his new surroundings after all the moves. We believe that a new chapter in life has begun for this family — one filled with peace, hope, and love. Victoria dreams of having her own home, where comfort and peace reign, and where all her children are close by. She sincerely wants to reunite her family and start a new life—with faith, love, and God's blessing. Thank you to everyone who supports our mission—together we can do more
