For more than 15 years, the Christian mission “New Life” 🇺🇦 has been supporting people who have found themselves in difficult life circumstances. Our goal is not only to provide assistance, but also to offer care, support, hope, and a sense of dignity to every person.

A new family was born at the New Life Christian Mission. This is not a metaphor or a nice phrase for a report. This is the real-life story of two people who came here from different sides of pain — and found each other where they least expected it. They found each other not because they were looking for each other, but because they first found themselves.

They touch the heart, make you rejoice and cry at the same time, rethink your life, and learn compassion. Each of them is not just the fate of one person, but a testimony to how even in the darkest circumstances the light of faith can shine. This was the story of Galina Kharitonovna.

In these difficult times of war, the Social Canteen project continues to support hundreds of people who find themselves in difficult circumstances. Homeless people, lonely pensioners, and those who have been left without basic living conditions due to the war find not only a warm meal and necessary assistance here, but also human attention, support, and hope.

The war in Ukraine continues, and the enemy continues to strike energy infrastructure facilities. With the onset of winter, the issue of supporting people becomes particularly relevant.

Despite constant shelling and danger, volunteers and chaplains of the mission do not stop. Recently, humanitarian aid has been delivered to dozens of cities and towns in Ukraine — from Odessa and Kyiv to Kharkiv, Kramatorsk, Kherson, and Donetsk regions, as well as directly to our military.

During wartime, the Odessa region remains a high-risk area. Regular missile and drone attacks damage civilian infrastructure, residential buildings, and energy facilities. This affects the standard of living of the population, access to stable incomes, food, and basic services.
