A dream of peace: a family that found safety in the Mother and Child Center"

The doors of the Mother and Child Center have opened again for another family. This time, a young mother Oksana, 34, who is raising six children, found shelter. Her life was full of trials: she lost her father in childhood, experienced difficult relationships with men and had no support from her family. The most difficult period came when Oksana and her three youngest children were in danger due to the hostile attitude of the environment. For three weeks, they spent the night wherever they had to, hiding from persecution, while the older children remained in the care of relatives. Her eldest son Artem became her mother's support and assistant to the younger ones. Oksana has seven children in total. Her eldest son Artem, 14, is now her mother's assistant; Daria, 9; Mykhailo, 8; Roman, 4; Sofia, 2; and Oleksandr, 1. All the children are healthy, wonderful, very open to communication and, despite what they have been through, keep their hearts warm. They are developed according to their age - this is the result of their mother's care and love even in the most difficult times. However, thanks to the caring people and volunteers of the New Life Christian Mission, the family finally found a safe haven in the Mother and Child Home. Here, for the first time in a month, Oksana was able to sleep peacefully, and the children felt warm and safe. Despite all the difficulties, Oksana continues to take care of the children's development, bringing them up in love and care. Her biggest dream is for the children to grow up in peace and tranquility.
