CONSTRUCTION OF A SHELTER FOR ELDERLY PEOPLE AND PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES: A NEW STAGE OF WORK
Construction of the new Shelter of the Christian Mission “New Life” in the village of Velykyi Dalnyk, Odesa Region, is continuing. Another important stage of work has been completed, and the future complex is gradually taking shape.
At present, the walls of the second floor have been fully constructed in both buildings. The concrete columns, which are important load-bearing elements of the future structure, have also been completed, as well as the elevator shaft on the second floor.
The next stage is the monolithic floor slab. A significant part of the formwork has already been completed, and work on its installation is continuing. Once this stage is completed, the builders will be able to proceed with further construction of the structures.
Each completed stage brings us closer to creating a new home for people who need support. The future Shelter will serve elderly people, people with disabilities, seriously ill people, and those who have found themselves in difficult life circumstances.
The project provides for 310 places for residents, a specialized department for seriously ill people, a medical unit, residential rooms, a dining hall, green areas, a library, and spaces for spiritual and psychological support.
Special thanks go to everyone who works every day to make this project a reality. To the builders, staff, partners and volunteers — thank you for your work, responsibility and contribution to creating this future home. We also thank all the donors and friends of the Mission, whose support makes it possible for the construction to continue.
There is still much work ahead, but each new stage shows that, through our joint efforts, this major vision is becoming a reality.
We continue to build a home where people will be able to receive care, support and dignified living conditions.
