The war in Ukraine continues for the 1,418th day. A social bakery has opened in the city of Odessa.

The Christian mission “New Life” has launched a new area of activity — a Social Bakery, where delicious bread and a variety of bakery products are already being baked.

This bakery was created to support the residents of our city and to develop the mission’s existing social projects. We plan to use this work as an effective tool of assistance within the project “Help to Survive. Ukraine,” aimed at supporting the civilian population, internally displaced persons living in the city of Odesa, as well as large and low-income families.

The baked bread will be used to support the activities of the following social initiatives:
 • “Shelter for the Elderly and People with Disabilities”
 • “Home for Mother and Child”
 • street social work
 • “Warming Points” and “Points of Resilience”
 • “Social Canteen” for vulnerable groups of the population
 • the project “Center for Personal Recovery”

This project marks the beginning of a new and extremely important ministry. Its foundation is faith that this work will bring real benefit and help to those who need it most.

The social bakery is equipped to operate independently of unstable electricity and gas supplies, which is especially important in the conditions of war in Ukraine. This truly gives hope.

We sincerely thank our friends and international partners for their cooperation, who during this time of trials support the civilian population of Ukraine, open new opportunities, and extend a helping hand.

At a time when infrastructure is being destroyed in Ukraine, power outages are occurring, and people live in constant instability, your support gives hope and confidence in tomorrow.

Together — to victory.
