🇬🇧YTX Conf: More Than Just a Conference
On May 23, YTX Conf took place in Odesa, bringing together around 200 teenagers from different cities across Ukraine. For many of them, it was much more than just a day of fun, общения, and new experiences — it became a life-changing encounter.
The main theme of the conference was identity — one of the deepest struggles for today’s generation. In a world where social media, trends, pressure, and other people’s opinions constantly try to define who you should be, teenagers heard a different message: your identity is not built on likes, appearance, or public opinion. Your true value is found in who God created you to be.
Throughout the day, participants experienced powerful messages, interactive activities, games, gifts, worship, and genuine fellowship. But the most important part of the conference was the presence of God moving among the teenagers. The Holy Spirit touched hearts, changed mindsets, and brought answers to questions many had carried for years.
Some teenagers opened up about their pain for the first time. Some found hope and a desire to keep living. Others received understanding on how to fight depression and inner emptiness. Fear was replaced with peace, hopelessness with faith, and loneliness with the realization that God is near.
Today, teenagers need more than entertainment or material support. They need attention, guidance, truth, and the living presence of God. That is why conferences like YTX Conf are so important — because they become places where lives are transformed.
The Christian mission “New Life” became a vital part of this work. The team helped organize the event, prepare materials, decorate the venue, cook meals, and create an atmosphere where every teenager could feel welcomed and valued. Many people united for one purpose: to serve the younger generation and show God’s love not only through words, but through actions.
When people unite for the sake of teenagers, something bigger than an event is born. A space is created where young hearts can encounter God, find light in darkness, and receive hope for the future.
And this is exactly why such work must continue.
