At the age of 16, she became the mother of little Arina, but the child's father disappeared from their lives

Since childhood, Valentina has known what loneliness and lack of parental love are. Growing up in a boarding school, she was rarely at home and always reached out to those who gave her warmth. At the age of 16, she became the mother of little Arina, but the child's father disappeared from their lives. After giving birth, social services sent Valentyna and her daughter to a support center, where they lived for three years.
It seemed that life was starting to get better when she met her future husband. The couple got married, moved to Odesa, and started building a family. But the war ruined their plans. In search of a safe place, they went to the village to visit her husband's relatives, but the reality turned out to be more difficult than expected. Little Roma was born prematurely, was very weak and ended up in intensive care. The conditions in which the family found themselves were far from safe for children, so they were placed under the supervision of social services.
Today, the Children's Service of the Talniv City Council sent Valentyna and her children to the Mother and Child House of the New Life Christian Mission. Here they received not only a roof over their heads, but also warmth, support, and the opportunity to start over. Valentyna speaks with gratitude about the help they needed so much.
"We thank everyone who supports the Mother and Child House project. This help gives mothers and their children a chance for a safe and loving future!
