Opening of a heating point in Odessa

On JANUARY 14 at 17:00 a heating point was opened at Kulikovo Field.

The task of the station is not only to warm and feed the homeless person, but also to find out the reason why the person ended up in such conditions and send him either to the center or to the shelter.

The heating point works around the clock.

Hot food is served in the morning at 8 and in the evening at 7.

You can have tea around the clock.

Complete disinfection is carried out 2 times a day.

An ambulance works in the tent in the evening, where wounds are treated and first aid is carried out.

Every evening, volunteers sing and play Christian songs, they also communicate and take those who have decided to change their lives to shelters.

The point is designed for 150 people.

Volunteers of the New Life mission work at the station, some of them are former homeless people, alcohol and drug addicts or prisoners who have undergone full rehabilitation and social adaptation.

The tent will continue to function until the end of the severe frost.

More than 17,000 people passed through the tent last year.

Without the help of volunteers and caring people, we would not have coped.
