"A new chance for Olga and little Sergiy"

Recently, a specialist from the Center for Social Services of the Artsyz City Council asked the head of the Mission to take a mother and a baby to the Mother and Child Center.

The mother's name is Olga. She is 34 years old and comes from the village of Plotsk. Her life since childhood has been full of challenges: a dysfunctional family, early loss of her mother and later her father. At that time, Olga already had three children.

Alcohol appeared in her life too early - at the age of 15. Later, after starting a family, she gave birth to four children. However, due to difficult circumstances and inadequate living conditions, the children were taken away, and now they are being raised in a foster home.

Recently, Olga gave birth to another boy, little Sergiy. He is only six months old. The birth was premature, and the baby was born very weak, requiring special care and artificial feeding. Life became even more difficult when Olga's husband was drafted into the Armed Forces and she was left without support.

Olha came to us exhausted and exhausted. However, despite her difficult past, she said: "I want to change for the sake of my son. This is my new chance, and I will do my best."

We are doing everything we can to give this little boy and his mother a chance for a different life - one of safety, warmth, care and love. Olga and Sergiy have already received everything they need for the first days of their stay.
