Today, the New Life Mother and Child Center welcomed a new resident - Tetyana, 43, together with her two daughters, Veronika (10 years old) and Vitalina (8 years old).

Behind this family lies a difficult journey filled with challenges, pain, and a struggle for a safer future.

Tetyana was born in the town of Mlyniv in the Rivne region and grew up in a loving and stable family. Throughout her life, she was married twice. She has two sons from her first marriage and two daughters, Veronika and Vitalina, from her second marriage.

According to Tetyana, her husband behaved appropriately at the beginning of their family life. However, over time, he began abusing alcohol. Family conflicts became more frequent and eventually escalated into systematic physical and psychological abuse.

The children suffered the most from these circumstances. Veronika and Vitalina grew up in an atmosphere of constant tension, fear, and uncertainty. Instead of feeling safe and protected, they became witnesses to difficult family situations that leave a deep impact on a child's heart.

The prolonged psychological pressure, fear, and hopelessness also affected Tetyana. In an attempt to cope with emotional pain and difficult experiences, she began drinking alcohol, which only deepened the crisis.

When the situation became critical, Tetyana made the important decision to seek help. This is how she and her daughters came to the New Life Mother and Child Center.

Today, a new chapter begins for this family. Here, they will receive not only a safe place to live but also social, psychological, spiritual, and practical support needed to overcome the consequences of domestic violence, restore emotional well-being, and rebuild their lives.

There is still a long road to recovery ahead. It is especially important to help the children regain a sense of safety, peace, and the childhood they have been missing for so many years.

We believe that through care, support, and joint efforts, Tetyana, Veronika, and Vitalina will be able to leave the painful pages of the past behind and begin a new chapter filled with hope, stability, and new opportunities.
