Bogdana's story: Stepping out of darkness toward hope and light

Recently, the doors of our Mother and Child Home opened to another family in desperate need of help. Twenty-two-year-old Bohdana came to us. Together with her, her closest relatives took this step into an unknown but safe future: her three-year-old daughter Alisa, little Marat, who is only 1 year and 4 months old, and her younger 18-year-old sister Ulyana.

Bogdana's life has been difficult since childhood. Her path has been fraught with dangerous conditions, destructive addictions, and constant, exhausting fear for the lives of her children. It would seem impossible to get out of this darkness on her own... But maternal love overcame fear: she found the courage and dared to ask for help. In warmth, safety, and love Today, this young family is in completely different circumstances. They are now warm, clean, and completely safe.

They are surrounded by sincere care and love, which they had been lacking for so long. Instead of anxiety, there is peace in their eyes.

We believe that a whole new chapter is beginning for this family today—a time of deep healing, restoration, and bright hope. Simple but big dreams When you ask Bohdana about her dreams, she doesn't ask for anything unattainable. Her desires are simple, but in fact they are the most important things in life: to be healthy and completely free from the burden of the past. For her children to grow up in love and peace, without knowing the hardships she had to go through.

 We are infinitely grateful to God for every step they have taken toward salvation and for the blessed opportunity to be there for them in the most difficult moments of their lives. Bohdana's story is yet another proof that there is always a way out when there are caring people around.
