BREAD FOR KHERSON: 400 LOAVES DELIVERED DESPITE THE DANGER
Kherson lives under the constant threat of shelling. Damaged homes, destroyed infrastructure, lost jobs, and frequent air raid alerts have become part of everyday life in the city. Yet despite the danger, many people remain in their homes and refuse to leave their native city.
It is to support these people that the Christian Mission “New Life” has launched a new area of service.
Every Sunday, volunteers and cooks from the Christian Mission “New Life” personally bake 400 loaves of fresh bread.
After that, the team sets out on the road to deliver the bread to people who especially need support today.
This time, the destination was Kherson.
Delivering humanitarian aid to a city that is constantly under the threat of shelling always involves risk.
Yet despite the danger, the team continues its journey.
For the residents of Kherson, an ordinary loaf of bread can mean much more than simply food. It is essential assistancereaching people who have remained in their city despite the difficult circumstances.
Many residents of Kherson continue to live in the city despite constant air raid alerts, destruction, and danger.
That is why, for the Christian Mission “New Life,” it is important not only to provide humanitarian aid, but also to show people that they have not been left alone with their difficulties.
Every bread delivery is an opportunity to support those who continue to live in a frontline city.
The trip to Kherson has become part of a new area of service for the Christian Mission “New Life.”
The team plans to continue making humanitarian visits to the city and delivering aid to people for as long as there is a need.
Because even where sirens sound every day and danger is always present, people need to know: they are not forgotten.
