Humanitarian aid in wartime in Ukraine plays a vital role
War destroys infrastructure and the economy, resulting in shortages of food, and other basic needs.
Humanitarian aid provides the population with these necessary resources. International organizations from America, Germany, and Holland deliver long-lasting food to affected areas. This is helping people who are in dire conditions due to the destruction and fighting to survive.
The Christian mission "New Life" is also actively involved in distributing this aid to those in need. The support is aimed at helping vulnerable people. The war exacerbates the vulnerability of the elderly, children, the disabled and other groups. Internally displaced persons who have fled their homes due to the destruction and financial instability of the regions under shelling apply for assistance. Humanitarian aid is aimed at meeting the needs of these categories of the population.
In Odesa and the Odesa region, volunteers of the ‘New Life’ mission distributed aid in the form of frozen foodstuffs. Volunteers and military chaplains also delivered aid to dangerous regions of our country, such as Donetsk region, Kherson city, Mykolayiv region, Cherkasy region and other regions.
International attention of our friends and partners since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine allows us to count on the stability of our friends from Germany Hoffnung und Hilfe e.V and Holland Hope4Ukraine. Most of the aid to our country comes through religious organizations, which shows the importance of such associations in humanitarian support to Ukraine.
Thus, humanitarian aid is a critical element in supporting Ukraine in wartime, helping to mitigate the effects of the conflict and contributing to recovery and stabilization.
Gratitude from civilians, military and people to whom this aid became not only physical support but also gave light and hope for the future of our country. We thank for the common cause every kind and merciful heart Ukrainians are united by the war and no one is left out of the problems of their neighbors.
We believe that together we will win.
