The city of Ochakiv remains one of the communities in Ukraine that continues to experience the severe consequences of the war. Due to its proximity to active conflict zones, local residents have lived under the constant threat of shelling for a prolonged period, facing destruction and adapting to extremely difficult living conditions. For many people, basements and shelters have become a regular place of refuge during air raid alerts and attacks.

For this reason, supporting the residents of Ochakiv remains an important part of the ministry of the Christian Mission “New Life.” Throughout the war, our mission has regularly provided humanitarian assistance to the people of the city, as this region continues to face significant challenges and requires ongoing support.

The latest humanitarian outreach became another step in supporting local families. This time, 500 food parcels were distributed to residents of the city. For many families, this assistance provided much-needed support during a time of economic hardship, instability, and ongoing danger.

In addition to the food parcels, residents of Ochakiv also received frozen nuggets. Together with the food parcels, this assistance became an important source of support for local people who continue to live under wartime conditions and require additional food assistance.

Despite the difficult situation, people continue to remain in their city, work, raise their children, and support one another. That is why every humanitarian delivery carries special significance for those who face the challenges of war every day.

A special role in delivering aid is played by dedicated individuals who continue serving their community despite the risks. Thanks to their commitment and daily efforts, humanitarian assistance regularly reaches those who need it most.

We express our sincere gratitude to Samaritan’s Purse for providing humanitarian aid and for its long-term support of the Ukrainian people. Through this cooperation, hundreds of residents of Ochakiv received essential food parcels and other humanitarian assistance during this difficult time.

Today, Ochakiv continues to need support. Despite all challenges, people do not lose hope and continue building their lives. Every food parcel, every humanitarian delivery, and every act of care makes a meaningful difference for those who continue to live in the midst of war.
