Construction for the elderly and people with disabilities — a place where care becomes reality

In the village of Velykyi Dalnyk, the construction of a large social shelter for the elderly and people with disabilities is ongoing. What was recently only a plan and a vision is now taking visible shape: concrete columns are rising, structural elements of the future buildings are forming, and construction equipment is actively at work.

This is not just a process — it is daily progress that is gradually transforming an open area into a living space for hundreds of people.

Who this shelter is being built for

The future complex is designed to accommodate 310 people. It will become a refuge for those who have lost their homes, their support systems, or the ability to take care of themselves.

These are elderly people left alone.
People with disabilities who require constant care.
Those whose life circumstances have left them unable to cope without help.

For each of them, this shelter is meant to be more than just a place to stay — it is meant to be a place of warmth, care, and dignity.

Current stage of construction

Construction is progressing actively on site. Concrete structures are being poured, columns are being installed, and the framework of the building is taking shape. Step by step, the future complex is becoming visible.

The work continues despite all challenges. Limited resources, an unstable situation in the country, constant difficulties — none of this has stopped the project.

On the contrary, each day of work is proof that this mission is moving forward.

More than just a building

For the Christian Mission “New Life”, this project is a response to a real need. Today, more and more people are left without support, and often they simply have nowhere to go.

This shelter is about dignity.
About care.
About ensuring that no person is left alone with their struggles.

Here, it is not about who a person used to be, but about who they are now and the help they need.

There is still much to be done

There is still a lot of work ahead: interior construction, utilities, furnishing the rooms, and preparing the living environment. But even now, the most important thing is clear — the construction is progressing and producing real results.

This means that each day brings us closer to the moment when the first residents will enter this place not as visitors, but as people who have found a new home.

Together we can do more

This project is moving forward thanks to the support of people who care. Every contribution, every act of help becomes part of this construction.

And as the walls rise, so does hope.

You can support the construction today. Together, we can create a place where care and love become reality for those who need it most.
