345 people received humanitarian aid
At a time when even the simplest food products have become a serious necessity for many families, support takes on special meaning. Not loud words or beautiful reports — but real help placed directly into people’s hands.
Thanks to the support of Friese Rijders voor Oekraïne, led by Vitaliy and Natalia Smolin, as well as the organization Orphan Grain Train, volunteers of the Christian Mission “New Life” prepared and packed 350 bags of potatoes for vulnerable residents of the Odesa region. As a result of the humanitarian distribution, 345 people received assistance.
Along with potatoes, people also received rice in the same quantity. For some, it means several days of peace. For others, it is an opportunity to feed their children. And for many, it is a reminder that they have not been forgotten.
In addition to food assistance, a clothing and footwear distribution also took place that day. People were able to choose the items they needed for themselves and their families: adult clothing, children’s clothing, shoes, and other essential items. For many families, this kind of support is no less important than food, because many are forced to save even on basic necessities.
Behind every humanitarian distribution stands a great amount of unseen work: packing, sorting, preparation, transportation, and volunteer coordination. Yet it is through these simple actions that genuine care is shown.
Among those receiving aid were elderly people, internally displaced persons, large families, and people with disabilities — all those currently facing difficult life circumstances.
The mission continues its work because as long as there are people in need, this service cannot stop.
Special thanks to everyone who supports this ministry through prayer, financial support, humanitarian aid, and personal involvement. It is thanks to people with open hearts that thousands of those in need can continue receiving support during these difficult times.
