Inhuman conditions for people from lower castes in India
The New Life Christian Mission is unpleasantly surprised to see the situation that is happening in India with the lower strata of the population. The government does not even try to help these people because they belong to a lower caste.
These people are under very severe social restrictions: they are not allowed to live in normal conditions, work in good jobs, drink and eat what they want, even choose a life partner only from their own caste. People live in huts made of brushwood and leftover building materials. If for some reason someone from this caste dies, no one will ever find out the cause of death. They have neither documents nor status. It is almost impossible to leave the caste or change to a higher caste, so they are doomed to drink dirty water, catch rats for food, and live in poverty for the rest of their lives.
We felt sorry for their problems and provided them with clean drinking water and blankets to help them prepare for the winter. During the distribution process, we prayed for them, shared the Word of God and distributed New Testaments.
