Shelter for homeless people to be established near Odesa
The area of the house is 400 m2. Nearby, there is a large plot of land for a garden and a vegetable garden. The organization purchased the house and the land at the expense of concerned citizens who donated money to the project.
The head of the organization, Fedor Gerasimov, said that the shelter will be able to accommodate about 150 people. They plan to set up a small farm on its territory, where there will be chickens, ducks, geese, and pigs. Such conditions will improve the nutrition of homeless people.
The New Life Christian Mission was founded in 2010 and has been successfully implementing many projects: «Help to Survive», «Feed the Hungry», «Ward of Mercy», «Heating Points», that help homeless people. More than 110 people currently live in the organization’s shelters in Odesa.
