The Center continues to save lives by providing not only shelter but also a path to change.

The Center for Personal Recovery is a place that has been giving people hope for the future for many years. 
Most people who come to the Center are former alcohol or drug addicts. Substance abuse has made their lives aimless, and for many it has led to the loss of housing and social status. However, this Center is open to everyone who was living on the streets yesterday, but today has decided to change their lives and start over.
We provide not only a roof over their heads, but also love, psychological support, spiritual revival and assistance in regaining their social status. Here everyone gets a chance for a new life full of meaning, dignity and hope.
In 2024, 253 people turned to the Center for help and received support.
Social support and physical recovery
The Center provides everything necessary for a comfortable stay:
temporary housing in a safe environment
regular meals;
medical care and support in restoring health.
Unfortunately, most of our clients come to us without personal documents. One of the areas of our social work is to help them restore them, which greatly facilitates their subsequent job search and social adaptation.
A separate area of work is the restoration of family ties. We help our clients find their relatives, establish relationships with children, parents and friends, and return to normal social life. The main goal is to help people change their environment.
Spiritual work and change of mindset
We believe that true recovery is possible only through a change of heart and the realization of God's love. The Center provides:
spiritual support and mentoring;
help in overcoming addictions, identifying the reasons that led to a destructive lifestyle.
This helps a person to believe in himself as someone who is able to win. In 2024, the fruits of this ministry were 12 wards who chose to follow the Lord and testified to their faith through water baptism.
Training and professional adaptation
To help people start an independent life after completing the recovery course, we help them acquire professional skills. Program participants are trained in:
financial literacy
the basics of construction and repair;
work in the kitchen, laundry, and cleaning.
Unfortunately, many of our clients come to the Center in an antisocial state, and this area becomes their first step towards responsibility.
The Center's management also helps to identify the personal talents that each person has and gives them the opportunity to realize themselves in various fields, so that it becomes a new beginning of their future life.
Those who have completed the path of recovery often become an example for others.
They return to society with new values, skills, and friends that help them not to return to the past. Moreover, they themselves become a support for those who seek help, because they were in their shoes not long ago.
A personal recovery center is not just a place of temporary shelter. It is a chance for a full life, where a person receives not only a roof over his head, but also an inner renewal.
