"Mother and Child House: Hope is born here"

The Mother and Child Center project has been helping families in difficult life circumstances who cannot find a way out on their own for more than three years.
Over the past year, about 60 mothers turned to the Mother and Child Center. There were also cases when we took in fathers who needed help. In total, more than a hundred children received protection in an atmosphere of love and care from our staff.
Each family had its own difficult story, but they all needed support and a safe place to live.
Our shelter takes in single-parent families in critical situations: victims of domestic violence, mothers who almost abandoned their newborns due to poverty or life difficulties, single mothers abandoned by their husbands during pregnancy. Many were left homeless, and their children were at risk of being taken away due to inadequate living conditions.
To help these women change their lives, we work together with child welfare agencies, psychologists and teachers. The women undergo an adaptation course, learn how to take care of children, run a household, and acquire skills for independent living. For many, this is a chance to regain their faith in themselves and get the opportunity to raise their children in love and safety.
Much attention is paid to spiritual development. Mothers attend Bible studies, change their moral values, and accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.
Many of them enter into a covenant through water baptism and become part of the church community together with their children.
The management and teachers work with the children in special developmental programs to help them overcome the effects of stress and adapt to a new life. Thanks to love and care, they begin to trust adults again, find friends and regain the joy of childhood.
To make every family feel cozy and safe, the Mother and Child Center has created all the necessary conditions:
The living quarters are equipped with comfortable furniture, children's and teenage beds, tables and chairs.
The dining room and professional kitchen provide nutritious meals for all residents.
A medical room allows residents to receive the necessary medical care.
Over the past year, the shelter has built:
A playground with safe swings and slides that meets modern safety standards.
A football field that opens up opportunities for physical development and various sports.
Classrooms that allow children to continue their education even during air raids.
A playroom for the youngest, equipped with the necessary developmental tools, a physical development corner, a piano for creative development and identification of children's abilities. Experienced teachers work with children under the Mr. Leader program, helping them to learn about the world in areas of interest to their age.
A computer classroom equipped with the necessary equipment and furniture, which is especially important for students who have to study remotely. The work on its arrangement is still ongoing, and we strive to create all the necessary conditions so that nothing interferes with children's learning.
The most important part of every childhood is having fun and spending time with friends. We want these children to have a full life in the future, thanks to a happy childhood and a world filled with miracles and goodness.

The management of the orphanage always participates in various charity events, so the children visit the dolphinarium, the zoo, participate in children's parties, have fun on the playgrounds, and go to the pool where they learn to swim and just play together. The best reward for this is their smiles and the opportunity to see them happy.
All this is the great work of everyone who has joined the project and supports its existence.
Moms who have gone from despair to hope change, learn to love and care for their children. They restore relationships, find new friends, change their environment, and remain part of the community forever.
At present, 16 families with 25 children are undergoing rehabilitation at the Mother and Child Center. For us, they have become not just residents, but part of a big family.
