Enemy attacks on Odesa and the unity of citizens in saving the city
The fourth year of resistance, the 1209th day of the great struggle - and another rocket attack on a peaceful city.
This morning was a painful reminder that the war is not somewhere else - it is right next door, in our yards, on the streets, in the eyes of our neighbors.
Today, Odesa came under enemy fire again. The historic center has been damaged, residential buildings destroyed and infrastructure damaged. Dozens of people have been left homeless, without electricity, water or gas. Some people no longer even have a kitchen to boil tea in. Some have even more: their lives have been forever changed, they have lost their health or a loved one.
As part of the Help to Survive charity project, the mission team supported rescuers, utilities and ordinary residents of the city in the first hours after the tragedy. They brought them the most necessary things - water, hot lunches, and soft drinks.
But what was even more important was the joint work and words of support between those who had not met yesterday.
This tragedy reminded us once again that we are not alone.
Everyone who supports us, helps us, and simply does not remain silent is already bringing victory closer.
