Miracles of Christ in Wartime
«As evening approached, the disciples came to him and said, "This is a remote place, and it's already getting late. Send the crowds away, so they can go to the villages and buy themselves some food." Jesus replied, "They do not need to go away. You give them something to eat." "We have here only five loaves of bread and two fish," they answered. "Bring them here to me," he said. And he directed the people to sit down on the grass. Taking the five loaves and the two fish and looking up to heaven, he gave thanks and broke the loaves. Then he gave them to the disciples, and the disciples gave them to the people. They all ate and were satisfied, and the disciples picked up twelve basketfuls of broken pieces that were left over. The number of those who ate was about five thousand men, besides women and children. (Mattew 14:15-21)
Missions from Germany and Moldova send several trucks full of food to our Mission every week for further distribution, but two weeks ago a true miracle happened: German Mission «Hoffnung und Hilfe» sent humanitarian aid in the form of twenty tons of Italian pizza!
Now, tens of thousands of people in Odessa and the Odessa region (Teplodar city, Velyky Dalnik vil., Petrodolynske vil., Kamianka vil., Balta city, Bilolesye vil., Zarechnoe vil., Maloe vil., Tatarbunary city, Chernomorsk city, Usatovo vil., Mezhlimanye vil.); Kharkiv city; Cherkasy city and Cherkasy region (Smela vil., Chernobay vil.); Zaporizhzhya city; Kirovohrad city and Kirovohrad region (Troyanka vil.); Kyiv region (Makarov city, Bucha vil., Glevakha vil.,Vasylkov vil., Borova vil.); Nikolaev city and Nikolaev region (Slivino vil., Zelenoe vil., Kiryakovka vil., Krivaya Balka vil., Bashtanka city) breathed a sigh of relief — they have someone to rely on. New Life Christian Mission regularly sends and delivers food kits and delicious, flavored pizzas to these locations.
We thank our partners and everyone who renders financial assistance to our Mission — your every contribution is very valuable.
